Twinways Orchard Mark Rogers

From our 5 acres of cider apple orchard we produce small batches of craft cider. The juice is made on a traditional rack and screw press only once the fruit is at its Autumnal peak. Next it goes through a wild yeast fermentation and a period of time to mature. The majority of our cider is bottle conditioned; it is blended and cider apple juice is added to provide more sugar then it is bottled where it undergoes a final fermentation to trap the fine bubbles that make it gently sparkle. As this process is wild it is subject to variation throughout the season and no two batches are identical.

Wise Owl Cider Richard Wise

Cider Maker, Richard Wise, has worked in the fruit industry for over 20 years, managing apple orchards across Kent. So we then decided to make our own...

Palmers Upland Cyder Phill Palmer

We are a small scale company making cyder and perry following the heritage of traditional methods with a bit of 21st century know-how to ensure a quality product is created. We pick fruit from unsprayed orchards and do not press the fruit until we think it is fully ripe. My fruit is mainly sourced from Monmouthshire and Powys but I sometimes stray over the border into Herefordshire and Gloucestershire to get fruit for the blends I want.

West Milton Cider Co. Nick and Dawn Poole

For generations cider makers toiled by candle and moonlight to work their magic transforming apple juice into alcohol. Here in West Milton the alchemy continues today. These days life is easier, but we still stick to the same time honoured principles – select the best apples from the best orchards, mill them, squeeze them, put them in a barrel and let the magic happen. We add nothing, we take nothing away. This is real cider as nature intended.
